Rules – Sivix Summer Challenge 2026

Campaign period

  • The Sivix Summer Challenge 2026 campaign runs from 9 July to 30 September 2026.

Eligibility

  • Only non-profit legal entities, such as clubs, associations and societies, may register for the campaign and receive sponsorship.
  • For-profit entities and individuals are not eligible to receive sponsorship funds.

How to participate

  • The club registers for the campaign via app.sivix.com/join or by emailing [email protected].
  • Members and supporters then use the Sivix app to scan real grocery-store prices and choose that club as the beneficiary of their points.
  • Every verified contribution earns sponsorship funds for the chosen club.

Contribution values

  • Each new product not yet in the Sivix catalog is worth €0.12 in sponsorship funds.
  • Each added price on an existing product is worth €0.03 in sponsorship funds.
  • Only products sold in a store that is mainly a grocery store are eligible.
  • Because most products in stores such as Mercator, Spar and Tuš are already catalogued, sponsorship funds generally build faster by scanning in other grocery stores, for example Lidl, Hofer, Eurospin and Jager.

Verification of contributions

  • Verified product scans and price confirmations count as contributions.
  • Invalid, duplicate or fraudulent submissions do not count.
  • A verification system runs in the background and takes location into account, among other checks.

Sponsorship unlock threshold

  • A club must reach €250 in accumulated verified contributions to unlock any sponsorship.
  • Once the threshold is reached, the club receives sponsorship equal to the full amount it has earned; €250 is a minimum unlock threshold, not a flat payout.
  • A club that does not reach the €250 threshold receives no sponsorship funds.
  • On average, reaching the €250 threshold takes about 25 supporters willing to spend under an hour of their time scanning.

Additional rewards

  • The first club to reach the €250 qualification threshold receives an extra €100 Early Bird sponsorship on top of its regular sponsorship.
  • At the end of the campaign, the qualified club with the most verified contributions wins an additional €1,000 sponsorship.
  • The additional €1,000 sponsorship is awarded only if all qualified clubs' verified contributions, combined, reach €1,000 in total; if the combined total is lower, this prize is not awarded that year.

Organizer and implementation

  • Sivix is a spin-off brand of Odpiralni Časi (odpiralnicasi.com), which is owned by Open Hours LLC.
  • This initiative is carried out in Slovenia on their behalf by Hopalai d.o.o.

Verification, amendments and payout

  • The operator may verify eligibility and contributions and reject ineligible or fraudulent registrations or submissions.
  • The operator reserves the right to amend these rules.
  • Sponsorship funds are paid out after the campaign period ends and verification is complete.
